UK Islamic Mission Qurbani Project 2009

In the coming festive period of Eid-ul-Adha and Qurbani (Udhiya, Zabiha or Sacrifice), we urge you to continue your valuable support to those who are not able to enjoy Eid-ul-Adha, and thereby bring some happiness to the less fortunate. Qurbani (Udhiya) and its reward:

"It is neither their flesh nor their blood that reaches Allah; it is your piety that reaches Him." (Qur'an 22:37)
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said,
"Qurbani is the way of Your forefather Ibrahim (pbuh). There is a reward for every hair.”
"The son of Adam does not perform any action on the day of sacrifice which is more pleasing to Allah than the shedding of blood. (the animal) will come on the day of resurrection with its hair, horns and hooves, and the blood certainly will fall in a place near Allah before it falls on the ground. So, make yourselves purified therewith.”

Qurbani is obligatory on each Muslim (male or female) who holds Nisab (i.e. 90.8gram gold or 594gram silver)”.

UK Islamic Mission performs the Qurbani in a country of your choice (or where most needed) and will distribute all the meat to the poor and needy.
