WE DEPEND ON TREES TO LIVE. THEY GIVE US FOOD, WATER, OXYGEN, CLEANER AIR TO BREATHE, AND MUCH MORE
It should come as no surprise, then, that planting trees is considered to be a highly beneficial act of charity in Islam.
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:
There is no Muslim who plants a tree or sows seeds and then a bird, or a person, or an animal eats from it except that it is charity for him.
(Anas bin Malik)
UK Islamic Mission’s olive tree planting project in Gaza has helped and continues to help, hundreds of farmers with thousands of tree plantings. These farmers are dependent on olive trees to provide for their families.
