UKIM is one of the premier faith based civil society organisations working in the UK to serve the needs of the Muslim community in the UK. UKIM is going through a major organisational reform to re-establish itself as an effective civil society organisation and fulfil its mission. The reform includes major changes at governance and executive level and relocating its Head Office from London to Oldham.
We are looking for a Head of International Programmes to lead on the development, implementation and review of the programme strategy in the international arena, work plans and systems to achieve agreed objectives. To secure and manage institutional funding for international programmes.
The ideal candidate should have the ability to strategise, plan, prioritise and delegate to ensure successful delivery of work and projects and excellent communication skills, written and oral, with the ability to deliver complex information persuasively and with clarity in a wide range of situations and through different media, e.g. prepare reports, deliver presentations, facilitate meetings, design and hold workshops
Applicants should be sympathetic to Islamic principles and values and have a solid understanding & experience of Muslim communities in the UK.
