Share a Smile

The Messenger of ALLAH, Muhammad (pbuh) has said:

Whoever relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, Allah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever helps ease one in difficulty, Allah will make it easy for him in this world and in the Hereafter. Whoever conceals the faults of a Muslim, Allah will conceal his faults in this world and in the Hereafter. Allah helps the servant as long as he helps his brother.
[Sahih Muslim]

A beautiful opportunity for every younger Muslim brother and sister to donate £1 (or more) towards offering an Eid gift to our fellow brothers and sisters who are suffering across the world. We are calling this campaign Share-a-Smile as by giving an Eid gift will no doubt bring happiness to them, Insha-ALLAH.

Open to every school going child, all donations will be totalled to give as many Eid gifts are possible. The more donations we receive, the more we can help the poor, the needy, the orphans and the widows and give them an opportunity to enjoy the Blessed occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.

Contributions can take the forms listed below. All donations made must be through the consent, approval and support of an adult (parent, carer, teacher, etc.).

Children Donation
This is where a younger Muslim brother and sister wishes to contribute part of their savings for this good cause.

Children Sponsor
This is where a younger Muslim brother and sister raises money through their family and wishes to contribute the raised amount towards this good cause. In this case, child must get permission from parents/carers before approaching family members.

Family Sponsor
This is where a family adult (father, mother, uncle, auntie, etc.) encourage their loved ones who are all of school going age to voluntarily support the Share-a-Smile campaign and all the money raised is then donated for this good cause.

Madaris/Organisation Collection
This is where a Madaris (Islamic School) and/or an organisation arranges for their pupils/youngsters to voluntarily contribute and the total is then donated for this good cause.

By contributing to this amazing and rewarding cause, we will be helping hundreds of poor and needy people, Insha-ALLAH. By doing so, we will also be encouraging our loved ones, youngster, to do good and champion goodness which will Insha-ALLAH help to shape their Islamic personalities and identity.
