THE NUMBER OF STREET CHILDREN IN PAKISTAN IS ESTIMATED AT 2 MILLION WHICH IS INCREASING DAY BY DAY WITH A CONSTANT PACE.
Street children are minors who live and survive on the streets. Due to poor socio-economic background, these children are not able to go to school because their parents can’t afford their educational expenses. Majority of them are forced to work because of poor status and they don’t even go to school.
Addressing this serious situation in view, UKIM has established Child Protection Centers in different regions of Pakistan. The aim is to improve the life standard of these Children. These Child Protection Centers are dedicated to fulfill the needs of these neglected children by providing them Education, Health Care, Love & Affection, Recreational Activities and Food.
