£100 will provide a school where previously there was none benefiting 100-150 children, plus help with tuition fees, books, uniforms and stationary to those children who need it.
Education is powerful and empowering, although not everyone has access to what should be a basic human right. Hundreds of thousands of children who are living in poverty simply do not have a basic education, denying them the ability to read and write – which then denies them the prospect of a brighter future.
UK Islamic Mission works towards ensuring that every child, no matter their living conditions, is given access to education. Our goal is to help those in need by giving them the tools to pursue a better standard of life.
