A LIVELIHOOD CAN GIVE DIGNITY, SELF-SUFFICIENCY AND A WAY OUT OF POVERTY FOR A STRUGGLING FAMILY 

However, each livelihood requires certain special skills, and people from a disadvantaged background are less able to access the resources, materials and training required to learn a skill and start a business.
 
Many people already have these skills and aspire to start and establish a business, but lack the initial funding necessary to achieve this. We provide interest-free loans (Islamic microfinance) to help entrepreneurs get started.
 
A sustainable livelihood is a powerful way to change a person’s life – and the lives of their family, too. It breaks the cycle of poverty and, crucially, makes school education affordable.
