BMHC Gala Dinner 2024

At the British Muslim Heritage Centre Gala Dinner 2024, the UKIM Brand Ambassador was honoured with a standing ovation in recognition of his exceptional achievement of becoming the first British Muslim to summit Mount Everest twice in just two years (2022 – 2024). The event also celebrated UKIM's distinguished role as the only Islamic charity to take on the monumental "14 Peaks Challenge."

The UKIM Brand Ambassador, along with the Events Team, received immense attention and admiration from prominent dignitaries, political figures, business professionals, and notable members of the Muslim diaspora, all of whom expressed their pride in associating with the ambitious "14 Peaks" project.

Among the distinguished guests at the event were Rt. Honourable Lord Wajid Khan, Honourable MP Afzal Khan, Mr Aneel Musarrat and Mr. Ejaz-ul-Haq (son of the late President of Pakistan, Zia-ul-Haq), who personally praised UKIM's remarkable efforts in serving humanity and congratulated Akke Rahman for his extraordinary accomplishments.

The UKIM Events Team also took the opportunity to network and connect with organizations such as We Love MCR Charity, Muslim Sports Foundation, and BMHC, fostering collaboration and community ties.

In a note of gratitude, the UKIM Events Team expressed their thanks to Mr. Nasar Mahmood (OBE), Chairman of BMHC, and Mr. Mohamed Qayyum, CEO of Sanam Group, for their warm invitation and facilitation of the UKIM "14 Peaks Challenge" at the prestigious gathering.
